Costs
How much does a website cost?
Most web developers are reluctant to publish their costs online.
The reason is that the cost can vary considerably given that the main cost
factor is the time taken to build the site and this varies widely depending on the client's requirements.
But to give you a guide some prices are below.
Basic 5 page websites from £200
At Whiteland we can provide a basic website (such as this one) for approximately £200. This includes the design and set-up.
Expect to pay an extra £5-£10 per year for the domain name and £5 per month for hosting.
Fixed cost pricing
If you need more than just a basic website we can give you a fixed price quote so that you know up-front what the cost will be.
However for us to accurately estimate the cost we will need to know your requirements in detail but then there will be little scope to make changes to the finished site afterwards.
Hourly pricing
On larger projects most clients usually prefer the flexibility of paying an hourly rate for time worked on the project. This way the client has the flexibility to make changes to the project as time progresses and the requirements prior to start do not have to be totally exact.
Medium sized websites tend to evolve as funtionality is added to them and depending on what the client's priorities are at any given time.
Our standard rate is £30 per billable hour. This is negotiable based on the size and urgency of your project.
Billing in GBP or PLN
We can provide VAT invoices in either GBP or PLN as we have companies registered in both the UK and Poland.
